sensor_angles
- ASTERimage.sensor_angles(channel='1')[source]
Calculate sensor zenith and azimuth angles.
Angles are derived for each pixel depending on the channel and the corresponding ASTER subsensor (“VNIR”, “SWIR”, “TIR”), as well as on the subsensor geometry and settings.
Note
All angular values are given in degree.
- Parameters:
channel (str) – ASTER channel number. ‘1’, ‘2’, ‘3N’, ‘3B’, ‘4’, ‘5’, ‘6’, ‘7’, ‘8’, ‘9’, ‘10’, ‘11’, ‘12’, ‘13’, ‘14’.
- Returns:
sensor zenith, sensor azimuth angles in degree.
- Return type:
ndarray, ndarray
