The profiles in this folder are extracted profiles from ECMWF runs covering various atmospheric states with cloud parameters.

ex2s_20060701_12_42_land_pcol_sampled.pnl (ex2s_20060701_12_42_land_pcol_sampled.xml.gz) contains a sample of states over land. 
ex2s_20060710_12_48_ocean_pcol_sampled.pnl (ex2s_20060710_12_48_ocean_pcol_sampled.xml.gz) contains a sample of states over ocean.
ex2s_20060710_12_48_ocean_pcol_selected.xml.gz is a subset of 25 profiles which was used for the ESA NWP study to consider cloudy conditions.
