The profiles in this folder are extracted profiles from ECMWF runs covering
various atmospheric states with cloud parameters.

*.pnl is the original data, while *.xml.gz contain the data in arts-xml format (ArrayOfGriddedField4 type).

ex2s_20060701_12_42_land_pcol_sampled.* contains a sample of atmospheric states over land. 
ex2s_20060710_12_48_ocean_pcol_sampled.* contains a sample of atmospheric states over ocean.
ex2s_20060710_12_48_ocean_pcol_selected.* is a subset of 25 atmospheric states selected and used for the ESA NWP study analysing information content in cloudy conditions.
